Humber College
Events
Humber Events, an integral part of Humber College's ecosystem, served as a centralized platform for staff, students, and external participants to discover and engage with various events. However, the platform's reliance on a third-party ticketing website introduced usability challenges and unexpected costs, hindering user experience and limiting scalability.

The Problem Space
Users experienced friction while navigating between the platform and a third-party ticketing website, leading to frustration and inefficiency. Additionally, the lack of exclusive access for subscribed members undermined community engagement and failed to capitalize on the diverse user base. Furthermore, dependence on external sources restricted the platform's ability to scale and adapt to Humber College's growing engagement with external entities.
The Solution
We developed a web-based event manager app that streamlined event discovery and registration, restricted access to subscribed members to enhance community engagement, introduced simplified payment options to promote inclusivity, and built a scalable platform to support Humber College's growing external engagements.
Design Process
The design approach we used while producing the project. Composed of content strategists, UX designers, and web developers.
